For teacher sub-standard 6b, you need to demonstrate that you consistently make use of formative and summative assessment to secure pupils’ progress.
The types of evidence you can use to showcase this are:
Planning reflects assessment outcomes
Data
Book scrutiny and quality of marking – Next steps
Interventions including more able and other vulnerable groups
Deployment of other adults
Pupil progress meetings
Using APP or other materials to do gaps analysis
Curricular target setting
Planning of Guided Groups
Using information from previous/ other current teachers to inform planning
Remember that the evidence in isolation isn’t enough, you will need to annotate it to signpost exactly where/how you are meeting the standard.
You can use photographic evidence to support your evidence for this standard. Be sure to anonymise any student work or data by blacking out names or identifying details. If you’re using photographic evidence be sure to blank out student faces and any school logos.
