For teacher sub-standard 5a, you need to demonstrate that you consistently adapt your teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
The types of evidence you can use to showcase this are:
Planning
Children’s work, provision of resources
Pupil progress meetings
Decision making processes with support staff, deployment of additional adults
Appropriate learning outcomes
Use of Bloom’s Taxonomy/ thinking skills
Lesson observations, assessment records. All make progress over time
Differentiated questioning informed by data
Seating plans; appropriate groupings,
Provision maps, IEPs, EHCPs
Student voice and pupil conferencing
Remember that the evidence in isolation isn’t enough, you will need to annotate it to signpost exactly where/how you are meeting the standard.
You can use photographic evidence to support your evidence for this standard. Be sure to anonymise any student work or data by blacking out names or identifying details. Be sure to blank out student faces and any school logos.
